Turning the Page: A New Chapter Awaits

As the final pages of the Christmas term turn, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the incredible story we’ve written together this year. From the opening chapters in September to the festive conclusion this December, our school has been alive with stories of learning, laughter, and growth.

To our staff: you are the authors of our students’ success. Your creativity and dedication have transformed grammar into poetry, pronunciation into performance, and classrooms into places where stories come to life. Thank you for your endless passion and commitment.

To our students: you are the heroes of this tale. Whether you’ve been crafting your first sentences in English or perfecting the art of persuasive storytelling, your journey has been inspiring. You’ve faced challenges, celebrated achievements, and built your own language-learning narrative.

But as we close this chapter, a new one begins. Over the holiday break, our school will be undergoing a transformation. Think of it as a refreshed setting for the next part of our shared story—dynamic new learning spaces (try to guess the theme of our new rooms as voted by our teachers) and even more inspiration for the pages ahead.

And that’s not all! Starting in January, we’re launching enhanced lunchtime learning sessions—perfect for those looking to sharpen their skills in bite-sized chunks. These specialised, interactive sessions are designed to fit into even the busiest schedules, so no excuses!

As you cosy up with a good book ( I can’t wait to get stuck into the new Murakami offering) or share stories with loved ones over the holidays, remember that every word you encounter builds your language journey. Enjoy the break, recharge, and get ready to turn over a new leaf in January.
