Student of the Month interview: Hyo Jae

We have interviewed our lovely student Hyo Jae about his experience in London and at ABC School of English. We have learnt his opinion about the school and the city and we have got to know him better.

Thank you for taking the time to do the interview,

• Could you please tell me something about yourself: studies, job, hobbies, and dreams?

My major was in economics at university and I’ve worked as a senior clerk in the management support division in South Korea. My main responsibilities were environmental management, recruiting, and accounting. Despite enjoying my job, I didn’t feel inspired about my future in the company, I thought I needed something new.

• Why did you decide to come to London?

So, I decided to come to London but this decision wasn’t made by me. My family suggested this to me so that I could develop my ability and widen my way of thinking.

• How do you find life in London?

I’m sorry. I don’t know it well enough yet, I have only been here for two months. I can feel the potential for something in London. If I can get new visa in Korea, I will return here.

• Why did you choose ABC school?

My cousins and uncle recommended it to me. This school is in a good location and the school staff behave in a friendly and kind way.

• What’s your opinion of the Callan Method course?

This course of education is friendly and teaches adaptable English. Repeat, repeat and repeat is a good method.

• What are your plans for the future?

I’ve no idea currently, but I’m thinking about my plans for the future and thinking about what is going on in the world.
