Student of the month interview: Ayano

We have interviewed our lovely student Ayano about her experience in London and at ABC School of English. We have learnt her opinion about the school and the city and we have got to know her better.

Thank you for taking the time to do the interview,

Could you please tell me something about yourself: studies, job, hobbies, and dreams?

I’m Ayano Sugito. I’m Japanese. It has been 5 months since I moved to London, and it has been 4 months since I began studying with the Callan Method at ABC school. I worked in a hospital in Japan; I was a radiation technologist. I quit my job and I moved to London. My hobbies are watching films, listening to music, watching Ballet, jogging in the park, etc. My dream is to get a new job where I am using English.

Why did you decide to come to London?

My husband works in a Japanese company in London. He didn’t choose which country to work in but we are interested in London, so we are glad to live in London.

How do you find life in London?

Fortunately his company has supported our life in London, so it’s easy and comfortable to live in London.

Why did you choose ABC school?

Because I want to improve my English and for me speaking is more important than studying grammar.

What’s your opinion of the Callan Method course?

I think it’s awesome. Now I study only using the Callan Method. If we study the Callan Method hard and repeat a lot, we can understand words, how to use the words, and improve our grammar, speaking and listening. It’s good for students to study using the Callan Method.

What are your plans for the future?

I think I will live in London for another 3 or 4 years. Now I’m at intermediate stage ofmy English studies, but I will study English harder and I want to be able to speak English fluently and I will eventually look for a new job where I am using English when I will go back to Japan.
