Gabriela was the student of November!
In ABC School of English, the student of the month for November was Gabriela!
As always, ABC School of English seeks the Student of the month! In this case, the student for November was Gabriela. She is studying English with the Callan Method!
We have interviewed Gabriela about her experience in London and at ABC School of English. We have learnt her opinion about the school and the city and we have got to know her better.
Thank you for taking the time to do the interview!
Could you please tell me something about yourself like studies, job, hobbies, and dreams?
I’m 27 years old, I was born in Quito, Ecuador. When I was 21, I decided to study my bachelor’s degree in another country.
Now I’m a Journalist and I am working in Ecuadorian digital media. One of my hobbies is cycling and swimming I think the best way to relax or maybe forget all problems you have for a minute is exercising your body and mind.
One of my dreams is being part of a big journalism company (newspaper), like BBC or CNN.
Why did you decide to come to London?
I decided because I want to improve my English and also studying my master’s degree.
How do you find life in London?
Sometimes I feel the life is a bit quick, expensive but I realise that I’m a very big city. I’m getting to use. Nonetheless I like this city because there are different cultures and that is amazing.
Why did you choose ABC School of English?
This is an interesting question because when I was looking for an English school I was in Argentina. So, I had many options, but this was different because of its method, Callan Method, and the way I was cared for. The staff is very kind, they make you feel like if you are in a little family.
What’s your opinion of the Callan Method course?
Trying this method was the best idea I’ve ever made because I’m learning very much. To be honest I don’t like grammar, so I think this method helps me a lot.
What are your plans for the future?
My plans are studying my master’s degree in English and of course trying to work in an English Journalism media.
