About homestay

Homestay is a great way to stay in London. The homestays are carefully selected and visited to ensure that they are suitable for you.

There is no better way for you to experience “British” life than by living in a friendly and caring environment where you can immerse yourself in the English language. We place only one student of the same mother tongue when two or more students are staying in the same homestay. The minimum age is 16.

The definition of a homestay may vary from the traditional family description.

Host families may include working/retired couples, single women, be with or without children, be of various religious and professional backgrounds. We always provide you with a full description of the homestay, including a map of how to get there, before any payment is taken and the booking confirmed. Bear in mind that some homestays might consist of a couple, with, for example, an English father and a French mother.

London is a cosmopolitan city and your homestay might reflect this, please do not expect “English only homestays”. Your hosts will make you feel very welcome, but they have their own lives and will want to keep their privacy. Please, do not expect them to be there all the time and spend the whole time with you only. Be opened minded and enjoy the rich culture that London has to offer.

PRICES: The price will depend on the zone you would like to stay in. The school uses accommodation agencies for homestays.
